Thermomix in Queensland

We are now one week post Open House and I think everyone's feet have just about recovered!  A huge thank you to all of you who encouraged your customers and potential customers to come along and discover more about their Thermomix - we had almost 1200 people through the doors on the day!  The impact of that to our business is incredibly difficult to measure because it comes back to us in so many ways - simple word of mouth when people have a positive experience is priceless. There were a crew of 70 Consultants and Leaders on the day who made that positive experience happen.  A huge thank you to each of them - whether you were there for an hour or prepped for a week, your contribution was greatly appreciated.  Open House was a shining example of what can happen when a team works together with an approach wholly based on service. 

Many of you may have had the opportunity to learn with the wonderful Bev Unitt, of Be You Success Coaching .  Bev features on a couple of our wonderful mix-eLearning modules (the most popular being Open For Business ) and always has some great tips to share that can help you to maximise business outcomes. Recently Bev has started a regular podcast service, featuring professionals from the Direct Sales community.  This week, the podcast featured our very own State Development Manager, Julie-Ann Allen.  It's a great session and Julie-Ann's passion for our business, and her desire to support people to achieve success, shines through.  We are so fortunate to have Julie-Ann leading the way in Queensland! Our Emerald trip has wrapped up for another year, with an amazing time had by all.  Our Qld contingent consisted of Julie-Ann Allen, Jodie Day, Wendy Crombie, Mandy McDonnell, Kelly Arnold, Szandi Swalling and Kim Riddle. These trips happen as a result of dedication, drive and the ability to dream.  Each of these exceptional women earned the experience through changing the lives of those around them, and delivering exceptional customer service. Right now, as we sit in the middle of Thermofest qualification, it's time to ramp up your determination to secure your seat on the plane.  Every attendee at Como was there because they made a decision to give it everything they had, knowing that along the way their business could only benefit.  The first step is to believe you can, the next is just to take action! Congratulations, amazing Qld Como crew - for believing, taking action and achieving your dream!

Over the past few months, our awesome BDM team have been hosting short 30 minute calls on a Monday evening to support our newest consultants during their journey.  After looking at the segments, we decided it would be great to have them available as recordings full time, so you can now access those via our New Consultant Support page. Of course, whilst it's a great resource for those new to the business, it's just as valuable for experienced Consultants as a refresher. Our annual leadership conference is over for another year and it was amazing!  We hit the heights of Hunter Valley with 2 days of learning, team building & networking. We took the opportunity at Horizons to present our inaugural Qld Team Leader awards with congratulations to:- Jodie Day - Changing Lives award Sharon Sellings - Sharing the Love award Carmen McEneany - Springboard to Success award Tanya Ala-Outinen - Spirit of Qld award Horizons 2017 included an amazing Oprah moment with a special Cook-Key Thank You gift for Team Leaders, exceptional Key-Note presentation by Keith Abraham plus some great dance moves and lots of laughter. Our Qld team definitely makes an impact and we are so fortunate to have such inspiring leaders to support our Queensland Thermomix community, learning and sharing together. Every year the Leadership team heads off to Horizons conference for a couple of days of learning, connection and (to be perfectly honest) fun!  This year we are heading to the Hunter Valley and are super excited to be learning all about the Cook-Key launch and will be sharing as much info with you as soon as possible on the Facebook page.  Stay tuned!
